The 2 Murals below are of the "Airborne Invasion on D-Day, June 6,1944". The oil on canvas mural-paintings are by HHC Company veteran William "Linzee" Prescott. (Known as "Linzee" to fellow paratroopers, he made his first combat jump into Sicily July 9/10, 1943. He was captured by the Germans on June 22,1944 after he parachuted into in France on the night of June 5/6, 1944. He remained a prisoner of war at Stalg 4B Muhlberg, Germany until the war ended in May 1945. Linzee was born 1917 in Manhattan, New York and died April 24,1981 in De Leon Springs, Florida.)
